A loving smile, helping a fellow human in whatever capacity you can, and giving a portion of your wealth to charity are all part of sadaqah and it is one of the most important aspects of Islam. Sadaqah consists of many things, but it usually refers to monetary donations, and it is a voluntary action with no minimum amount required.
